The English Premier League is back this week after the international games and there are lots of interesting games available. I think there are some good betting options, so here we go:
This Week’s Pick: Bournemouth – Manchester City
Bournemouth were one of the relegation candidates at the start of the season and some early injuries put them in an even tougher position. However, manager Eddie Howe and his boys did a good job and it’s safe to say they will be playing in the Premier League next season as well.
Previously, they were on a 4 game unbeaten streak in the league, recording two wins in the process. This ended at White Hart Lane where they were beaten by Tottenham, but there’s no shame in that.
The international break gave them the chance to rest and prepare for their home clash against Manchester City. Besides the long-term injuries, Bournemouth have most of their players available for this match.
The same can’t be said about Man City as they have lots of injuries. The likes of Kompany, Sterling and Delph will certainly miss the game while Hart, De Bruyne and Yaya Toure are all in doubt with the latter having the best chance to feature.
Considering their shape away from home this season, this will most probably be another tough game. Since the announcement of Pep Guardiola, the team is in free fall with the only bright light being the Champions League.
Bournemouth are solid, on a good run and have a rested, fit squad for this clash. This should give them an advantage against an exhausted and troubled Manchester City team with a low morale. I expect the hosts to get something from the game and the odds for that seem too good to miss.
